East Side Gallery

The East Side Gallery is a renowned open-air gallery in Berlin, featuring a 1.3-kilometer stretch of the Berlin Wall, which has been transformed into a vibrant canvas by 118 artists from 21 countries. Located along the Spree River, it remains one of Berlin’s most visited attractions.

 

Checkpoint Charlie 

Checkpoint Charlie is one of the most iconic landmarks in Berlin, symbolising the division between East and West during the Cold War. Established in 1961, it served as a vital border crossing and today tourists from all over the world come to see it. 

 

TV Tower

The Berlin TV Tower is an iconic landmark standing at 368 meters, making it the tallest structure in Germany. Located at Alexanderplatz, the tower features an observation deck and a revolving restaurant offering stunning panoramic views of the city.

Berlin’s restaurant scene is a culinary paradise, offering a diverse array of cuisines, here are two of my dining suggestions. 

Coccodrillo

Coccodrillo is a vibrant Italian trattoria in Berlin’s Weinbergspark, offering a nostalgic 1960s Northern Italy atmosphere infused with edge and style. It has cosy red velvet decor and vintage posters, serving authentic, homemade dishes. 

Dirty Rose

With a vibrant atmosphere illuminated by funky lights, Dirty Rose serves a delightful array of Spanish tapas, exceptional wines and creative cocktails. You’ll be capturing stunning shots for your Instagram feed!

Berlin is well-known for its vibrant nightlife scene, here are two of my nightclub suggestions. 

Watergate

Watergate Club in Berlin is a legendary venue known for its vibrant techno and house music scene. Opened in 2002, it features a stunning location by the Spree River, hosting some incredible DJs. 

Matrix Club

Matrix is located on Warschauer Bridge in the vibrant Friedrichshain district. This club stands out in Berlin’s nightlife with its afrobeats and dance classics – an essential destination for all partygoers!
