Beauty Sleep Secrets

These bedtime rituals will not only enhance your physical beauty, but also nurture inner tranquillity, ensuring you rise and shine with a radiant glow each morning.

1. Heatless curls

Hair can be very time-consuming to style, especially if you are looking to achieve bouncy curls. This is why sleeping in heatless curlers can be a magnificent solution.

It should only take around five minutes or so to put your hair into the curler before bed. The Eternal Muse curler is made of silk. making it comfortable to sleep in. When you wake up in the morning your hair will be lovely and bouncy, ready for the day. Yes, you might look a little like Princess Leia in bed, but that’s part of the fun!

2. Lash, brow & hair serum

A little bit of serum each night can go a very long way. You can get serums that promote hair growth, whether that be for your eyelashes, eyebrows or your head of hair. I highly recommend The Ordinary Hair Density Serum, which promotes hair growth from your scalp.

Corporating a hair growth serum into your nighttime routine encourages consistent use, which is essential for achieving thicker and stronger hair.

3. Moisturise your body

Spending just five minutes moisturising your body with a tinted moisturiser, such as the Garnier Deep Glow,  before putting your pyjamas on, will help you to wake up with a natural glow.

Not only will your body be moistured and hydrated, but you will wake feeling more confident, with a natural-looking tan.

4. Teeth whitening

Creating a consistent bedtime whitening routine can make it easier to remember to whiten your teeth on a regular basis, which will help you to achieve optimum results.

Bedtime is the best time of the day to whiten your teeth as your teeth won’t be exposed to food or drink after the treatment.

5. Slugging

Slugging is a skincare trend that involves applying a thick layer of occlusive moisturiser, such as Aquaphor or Vaseline as the final step in your nighttime skincare routine.

The term “slugging” comes from the shiny, glossy appearance the skin gets from the thick layer of product, resembling the trail left by a slug. This technique is particularly beneficial for those with dry or dehydrated skin.

Make Self-care a Priority

Incorporating these five bedtime rituals into your routine can make a significant difference in how you wake up each morning. So make it part of your nighttime routine to indulge in a little self-care before bedtime!
