There is a rumour that it only takes 21 days to form a habit. Habits can easily become ingrained in our brains, becoming a part of our daily routine. This blog explores five daily habits that will upgrade your life for the better.

Simple Habits to Upgrade Your Life
Daily habits can boost productivity, relieve stress, increase motivation and uplift your mood. With this in mind, it is a no-brainer to incorporate these five daily habits into your life.
1. Make your bed
You’ll have heard it a thousand times before, but, it really is true that making your bed after getting up leads to increased happiness and success. Research has even found that bed-making is a daily habit of the most successful people in the world. This daily habit can lead to boosted productivity and motivation.
2. Write a daily to-do list
Writing a daily to-do list will help decrease stress because it enables you to see what needs to be done for the day. This helps you to keep track of short-term goals. Ticking off each task on the list as you go is an even greater way of tracking your accomplishments, which in return will boost your mood.
3. Move your body
Moving your body will not only benefit your physical health, but your mental health too. It’s a no-brainer! Healthy movement helps us to function properly, as well as feel good physically and emotionally. Some sort of movement in your day is essential for your overall well-being, whether that be a short walk, a weight-lifting session or any other form of physical activity.
4. Clean your phone
When was the last time you cleaned your phone? We touch our phones hundreds of times a day, and even take them to the bathroom with us, making our phones a magnet for bacteria and germs. Research has found that there can be over 25,000 bacteria per square inch on your phone.
With this in mind, you could use an alcohol-based wipe or spray to clean your phone each day. This is a small daily habit which could upgrade your life.
5. Do a night shift before bed
A “night shift” consists of prepping for the next day by planning your outfit, having your lunch ready and having your bag packed. Your future self will thank yourself for being organised the night before.
Spending ten minutes getting organised the night before can make all the difference for your future self. You will wake up the next day, ready for a productive and efficient day.
