I find myself super busy, which is why I like to spend minimal time when it comes to getting myself ready for the day.
With this in mind, there are a few hacks I have developed over time to keep up my appearance without having to get up hours before I need to leave the house.
Let’s dive into my top five high-maintenance hacks for staying low-maintenance.

Hacks To Stay Low Maintenance
Follow these five maintenance hacks to save time getting ready day to day.
1. Brow Lamination
In my opinion, eyebrows are super important when it comes to shaping your face. I’ve tried various eyebrow shapes and shades in my time, but right now I love the fluffy full eyebrow lamination look.
Getting my eyebrows laminated every 6 weeks helps to keep my eyebrows looking healthy and fully formed, without the need for any makeup. All I do in the morning is brush through my brows with a spooly and I’m ready to go!
2. Heatless Curls
Hair care is something I love to keep on top of. Now that my hair is longer and thicker than ever before, it is even more time-consuming to style. This is why most nights I sleep with my heatless curlers in, from Eternal Muse.
It takes me around 5 minutes to put my hair in the curler before bed. This brand in particular is made of silk and is super soft, making it comfortable to sleep in. When I wake up in the morning my hair is lovely and bouncy, ready for the day.
3. Tinted Moisturiser
If you’re a fake tan girl like me, you will understand how difficult fake tan maintenance can be. Personally, I use Molly Mae’s extra dark Filter tan, but I find that after a few days, it starts to fade and crack.
To maintain the tan for longer, I moisturise every night with Garnier’s deep-tinted moisturiser. This helps my fake tan to stay looking fresh for around one to two weeks.
4. Lash Serum
As someone who was addicted to eyelash extensions for many years, my lashes soon became damaged and almost non-existent. When I discovered Glow For It lash serum it transformed my non-existent lashes in a matter of weeks.
Now, I get frequent compliments on the length of my lashes, and I put this completely down to the Glow For It serum. I simply swipe it on my lash line every night before bed and this keeps my lashes long and full.
5. Silk Pillowcase
Last but not least, I cannot stress enough the importance of a silk pillowcase, it will transform your hair and skin for the better. Cotton pillowcases can be damaging to your hair and harsh on your skin.
Ever since I bought my silk pillowcase in 2020 I have never looked back. My hair is smoother and healthier, and my skin breaks out far less.
